This family looks very sad, kinda like they are treated unfairly, and that they seem worthless. Looking at this photo makes me sad because they all look so helpless and if you look at the setting it looks like they are poor by the condition of the house and the yard. The house looks like it is about to blow down with one gust of wind. And the yard, it seems like they tried to make a shelter or a dry place, in the background but it doesnt look so comfy, and or dry, and safe.
2. What is the setting of the photograph?
This picture is outside in an urban place, it is during the day and the lighting is kind of gloomy.
3. Describe what you see in the photograph. Include specific details.
Are there any people? There are 8 african american people in this photograph. What caught my eye was that they look a little poor, they are wearing old diry clothes. There are a few distinguishing features, and they are there facial expressions, they look kind of sad. Secondly, they look like they dont have any jobs by the condition of the house/yard and their clothes. I would say that their ages range from 3 to 40.
4.What structures are in the photograph?
Homes or businesses? This is a picture of a house in fair condition, and it doesnt really look like there are surrounding structures, it looks like it is the only house for many miles down the road.
5. What is the tone of the photograph?
Heavy or light? The tone of the picture is negative because everybody in the picture looks depressed. I would say that the picture is dark and heavy.
